When do you need to hire a planner?

Are you overwhelmed about planning your big day?  Don’t worry, this is a normal reaction and it is a lot to think about!  You may want to consider hiring a planner to get you started and point you in the right direction.  We can break it down for you to make it feel much more manageable. We offer custom packages to fit your needs whether you are looking for someone to coordinate the day of,  you want a partial package to have someone help you out along the way, or you would like a full service package where you don’t have to worry about a thing.  We’ve got your back, contact us today to schedule an appointment.  See question below about day of coordination for more detail to help you decide if a planner is a good choice for you!

When do you need a wedding planner for day of coordination?

There are many factors that go into answering this question.  Truth is, there isn’t a one size fits all for this question but I can try to point you in the right direction with some advice.  Are you having a wedding with more than 50 people in attendance?  You should definitely consider a planner.  Size is a big factor to think about when hiring a wedding planner, the bigger the wedding, the harder it is to manage people.  Do you have a good amount of setup or elaborate decor?  A planner can be a BIG help here so all the work doesn’t fall on family and friends.  Does your venue require a planner?  This is often the case and you must hire a planner as point person to run the day.  Do you have a family member or friend to appoint as a “time keeper and event manager” who doesn’t mind working for the day?  If so, then they may be able to play the role of coordinator for you but realize they will miss out on having fun as a guest because they will be busy!

Are you willing to work with LGBTQ couples?

Absolutely!  In fact, these are some of our favorite folks to work with.  They are often quircky, fun weddings and don’t worry about sticking to traditional norms.  Therefore, we can really think out-of-the-box together and come up with creative ideas!  Please, please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have more questions for me!

Does Tied & True Events travel for destination events?
