Hi, I’m Taryn and I love what I do!

My favorite part is seeing couples eyes light up when everything they’ve envisioned comes to life. I feel so honored to be able to share such a memorable day with my clients and witness true love in its purest form, it takes my breath away every time. I also really enjoy hearing each and every love story and working with couples leading up to their wedding. During our initial meeting, I always ask, “What’s most important to you on your wedding day?”  These become the most important pieces I focus on when planning any wedding.

My Background and What Got Me Here.

Now that we all know why I love what I do, I bet you want to hear a little about what got me here.  I have a knack for details, logistics, and planning and don’t miss a beat.  I’ve been planning fundraising events, weddings, corporate events, youth programming events, and more for over 10 years.  When I’m not planning events, you can usually find me playing in the outdoors- skiing, biking, hiking, scuba-diving, climbing, and traveling to name a few.  I have a love for the outdoors and strong curiosity of the natural world- always striving to meld these two worlds together in my work as an event planner.  I love bringing “natural” touches to the DIY masterpieces I create and I cherish a great outdoor wedding!

Why I Will Go Above and Beyond…

A quick personal note to further why I am so passionate about what I do!  I went through a horrible experience with my own wedding and picked a less-than-organized and unavailable planner who I eventually had to fire a month before my wedding! Yikes, right?! (Luckily, I found someone amazing to step in and they were a lifesaver! Thank you April at Your Perfect Day!) I know first hand what it feels like to have someone let you down right before your wedding and I vow to never leave my clients in this sticky mess. I am passionate about what I do, I go above and beyond, and I want everyone’s special day to be more than they could have hoped for!
